ASPINA's thinnest 15mm automotive seat ventilation blower - now available

ASPINA has developed and launched the DRF-29306 Super Thin, a new seat ventilation blower for automotive applications. At just 15mm thick at the housing scroll, it is one of the thinnest blowers in the industry. Space available for installing blowers is becoming increasingly limited, as seats become more multifunctional and slimmer for improved passenger comfort. In response to this trend, this blower was engineered to have an overwhelmingly low profile design that surpasses conventional products and can be applied to a wide variety of applications.
15mm super low-profile design achieved with bearing technology
The DRF-29306 Super Thin is designed so that the scroll does not protrude at all, meaning its overall thickness completely fits within 15 mm. This allows seamless integration into space-constrained seats that previously struggled to accommodate conventional blowers. This breakthrough meets the demand for even thinner seat designs.

The blower’s motor utilizes sleeve bearings, which offer high design flexibility and is the key to enabling super-thin structures if engineered with specialized expertise. With ASPINA’s advanced bearing technology, material selection and lubrication oil techniques were combined to achieve the blower’s exceptionally thin design, while ensuring low vibration, low noise, longer life and enhanced efficiency.
Improved P-Q characteristics
Performance was improved through extensive fluid simulations to analyze and mitigate factors that cause turbulence. As a result, while maintaining the same P-Q characteristics as our conventional model with similar dimensions (the DRF-29A306 Standard, 100mm×100mm), the DRF-29306 Super Thin has successfully reduced its thickness from 23 mm to 15 mm.
