New models, more solutions with ASPINA’s expanded seat ventilation blower lineup

The rise of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and additional functions in car seats are shifting seat ventilation system trends, encouraging automotive OEMs and manufacturers to deliver superior comfort within limited space. The existing DRF-29A306 series represents the fourth generation in its product line developed exclusively for automotive seat ventilation applications.

DRF-29A306 Standard is a compact model, measuring only 100 mm in length and width. Suitable for seats with limited space.

DRF-29A306 Wide is a low-profile model, measuring only 19 mm in height at the casing scroll. It is also a more high-powered model with a maximum flow of 23 CFM, which is 60% larger than our standard model.

DRF-29A306 EV-T model features a unique back outlet structure, allowing it to achieve a maximum pressure of 450 Pa with only 54 dB(A) of noise emission, all the while maintaining a compact size of 105 mm. For manufacturers seeking a compact and quiet product for EVs without compromising on pressure, this model is the ideal solution.

After releasing our original lineup, we received valuable feedback from our customers, highlighting several areas where our products could better meet market needs. For instance, EVs with large battery packs often limits the space available for seats, creating a need for more compact seat ventilation blowers. Additionally, as seat ventilation become a common feature their application is spreading to areas with hotter climates, which require products with higher airflow. In response to these and other demands, ASPINA developed five new models to the DRF-29A306 series and also introduced a fifth-generation model.

DRF-29A306 EV-T XL

DRF-29A306 EV-T XL is a larger version of the former EV-T model. This model was developed in response to customer requests for more airflow with a preference for a back-outlet structure, achieving a maximum flow 34 CFM while only emitting 52 dB(A) of noise. For manufacturers seeking a quiet product for EVs with higher airflow, this model is the ideal solution.

DRF-29A306 EV-T Thin

DRF-29A306 EV-T Thin is a low-profile version of the standard EV-T model, measuring only 20 mm in height at the casing scroll. With an industry-leading noise level of 55 dB(A) at a maximum pressure of 468 Pa, this model is the ideal solution for manufacturers seeking a quiet product for EVs with thinner seats.

DRF-29A306 XL

DRF-29A306 XL is a high-pressure model with a maximum pressure of 568 Pa. Recommended for manufacturers seeking a blower for seats with high ventilation resistance.

DRF-29A306 XXL

DRF-29A306 XXL is a high-airflow model with a maximum flow of 46 CFM. The ideal blower for manufacturers who place the highest priority on cooling performance. Also recommended for those who want to cool seats with a single blower.

DRF-29A306 XL Dual

DRF-29A306 XL Dual has two blower outlets, achieving a maximum flow of 31 CFM. This model is ideal for seat structures that cool the cushion and back with a single blower.

DRF-26106 Standard

DRF-26106 Standard is a compact model, achieving a maximum pressure of 450 Pa while measuring only 100 mm in length and width. Suitable for long life applications that require ball bearings. This is a fifth-generation line optimized for blower efficiency and cost based on our accumulated experience and know-how.
